Andy Beaudoin holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and a Bachelor’s Degree in classical percussion from the University of Texas at Austin. Classical performances of note include the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra, JETA Percussion Quartet, Trommel with featured soloist Bob Becker (NEXUS, Steve Reich Ensemble), and Fared Shafinury with guest artist Pezhham Akhavass. As an educator, Andy taught at Cy-Fair College from 2003-2007 where he led a variety of music classes and the jazz ensemble. He currently resides in Austin, TX where he performs, records, and teaches both privately and at Concordia University.
